Welcome to pro-biodiversity business in the Steppe Zones of the Eurasia Region project website

Engaging business in the long-term sustainable management and use of natural resources  is a key to the aim of halting the loss of biodiversity. The project has identifed micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which deliver economically viable habitat management activities in the Pontic Steppe ecosystem, covering parts of Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.

The project sought to identify financial structures and instruments that will provide the market mechanism necessary for the long-term sustainability of selected micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) operating in steppe ecosystems. More on EBRD Steppes project

It was coordinated by The RSPB and was run by a consortium consisting of The RSPB and Fieldfare International Ecological Development (FIED). Contact us
